Lilla Åland, our timeless classic birch cane chair, is a beloved and best-selling piece of furniture created by the eminent designer Carl Malmsten, inspired by the Finström church in Åland.

The chair exudes a distinctive elegance with its eight moulded back legs and a softly curved seat with a double bevelled edge. The slightly flared, turned legs add a fine balance to the design, and the centre cross adds stability.

Lilla Åland is available in several woods, colours and finishes, making it versatile and adaptable to different interior styles. Each chair is carefully produced in our factory in Smålandsstenar, fully assembled and manufactured with precision. Without the use of screws and metal, we instead use pins and glue to preserve the genuine quality.
